Wildcats Dump Thunder 6-4
After opening up the scoring with 2 goals the Zurich Midget Thunder took one on the chin to the Elma-Logan Wildcats Thursday night in Monkton. The Thunder were a little shorthanded for this one, but all players battled hard the entire game, showing alot of heart. In an unfortunate event late in the 2nd period, power forward Jarret Oke broke a bone in his ankle and will be on the DL 4-6 weeks. Scoring for the locals was Travis Cressman with 2, Bryson Volochkov and John Cooke with 1. Tyler Merner and Elliot Paulger picked up 2 assists each and Jake Earle, Connor Brand and Cressman with 1. Wade Coombs was in between the pipes for the loss.
