Midget Thunder Eliminated From OMHA Playoffs
The TCDMA Rebels proved to be too much for our Zurich Midget Thunder, beating them 4-0 on home ice to knock them out of the 'DD-D' OMHA Playdowns. The Rebels were a solid team made up of mostly 3rd year players, where we are almost all 1st and 2nd year players. It was still a tough pill to swallow as this group of kids is accustomed to having playoff success with several players winning more than one OMHA Championship in the last few years, but ya can't win em all. With the jump up in class for ZMAA and having to compete against almalgamated centres in the OMHA playoffs, the task will be challenging in upcoming years for all ages.
