Midgets Double Up Wildcats 6-3
The Midget Thunder improved to a .500 hockey club with a 2-2-1 record after knocking off Elma-Logan 6-3 last Thursday night. Tyler Merner and Mitch Finlay lead the way on offense scoring 2 goals and an assist each. Bryson Volochkov followed with a goal and an assist. Cody Merner scored the other. Jarett Oke, Jake Earle and John Cooke added assists. Wade Coombs picked up the win in goal. After going down early the boys battled back with 5 unanswered goals, some being highlight reel variety. Jake Earle continues to lead the team in blocked shots with 18, taking some bruises for the team.
