Thunder Play To 4-4 Draw With Sailors
The Goderich Sailors scored 2 goals in the last three minutes of the game to tie Zurich 4-4 on Friday night at the Bluewater Community Centre. Cody Merner and Travis Cressman lead the way on offense, Merner with 2 goals and an assist and Cressman with a goal and an assist. John Cooke scored the other. Jarett Oke, Tyler Merner and Joe Mathonia added assists. Goaltender Wade Coombs picked up the tie. The game got heated at times and will make for interesting future games with 3 more scheduled against the Sailors. The Thunder now head to Monkton this Thursday night to take on the Wildcats.
