Midget Thunder
Midget Thunder held off kincardine 2 1 in season opener.
Cody Merner started off with a quick goal in the first period on a nice pass from Kurtis Dennome. Thunder added to there lead in the second period when Dylan Steckle leaned into a shot and blew it past the Kincardine goalie. It was a tremendous pass from Connar McLean Thunder had to rely highly on some excellent defence and goaltending by Connor Adams who had a very strong game. Penalty trouble helped Kincardine cash in at 6:14 in the third. From there Connor continued to make big saves and his team played very good defense to help preserve the home opener win.
