Game 2 took until the middle of the second period before some Steckle magic broke the tie. Devon picked up a pass from Clare Masse at the right point, slid it to brother Dylan on the left point who leaned into and ripped a shot by the Elma Logan goalie. In the third period Brett McAllister was called on to make numerous saves as the Thunder got into some penalty trouble and his sharp play held the fort down until Zurich was able to get an insurance goal at 11:23 in the third as Devon Stekle passed to Jeremy Lynn who shot on the Elma Goalie only to have Cody Merner smartly on the door step to pound in the rebound.Congrats on a great performance in the first two games for the midgets.
