Last weekend the Zurich Thunder Atoms had three days full of amazing hockey in Innisfil! Hard work and dedication was shown from every teammate which led them to bringing home the championship!! The tournament started off Friday night facing the tough Innisfil Winterhawks #3. Although Zurich dominated most of the game, Innisfil had a strong goaltender that held their team in, leading them to a 3-1 win. Zurich Thunder turned things around on Saturday, winning both of their games. A 7-0 win facing the Port Colborne Sailors, followed by a 4-2 win against the Otonabee Wolves.
