NOVICE, 2012-2013 Season (Zurich Minor Hockey)

Despite being outnumbered nearly 2:1, the Zurich Thunder Novice Rep team won 7-0 yesterday in one of their most exciting games yet!  The game was close throughout the first period but a goal by #10 Callum Rankin (assisted by Ashton Willert) near the end of the period raised spirits and eased the worries of the fans, that the team may burn out quickly.

The Zurich Novice Rep team is right on their game with a great bunch of kids working together and having fun.  The dedication these kids have is unbelievable and was demonstrated again by Roarke O'Meara who made it to yesterday's game despite not feeling so hot, and helped the team to a 2-0 win. 

Our last two games played were against two very tough teams and both resulted in ties.  Our team continues to play strong and well together with direction from Head Coach Steve Regier, Assistant Coach Randy Hoffman, and Trainer Joe Gelinas all doing an amazing job.  Go Thunder !

A great game was played yesterday by the Zurich Novice Rep team, with goals scored by #17 Roarke O'Meara and #10 Callum Rankin and assists by #16 Jordon Robinson, #10 Callum Rankin, and # 7 Ryan Regier, respectively.

Another great game was played today to end an awesome 3-game weekend.  We didn't win this time, but everyone played their best and had a great time.
