Peewee LL, 2010-2011 (Zurich Minor Hockey)

Thanks to everyone who came out last night to celebrate our final ice time...hope you had fun! Thanks to Kevin, Matt, Josh, and Jeremy for all their hard work this season. Thanks to the parents who helped work the door and clock. And Thanks to the kids...you're great team players...have a wonderful summer! A couple of reminders...the AGM is Friday, April 8th at 6pm. Also,we will be doing registration for next hockey season that night too! Come out and support the PeeWee Rep and Midgets as they battle it out with Manvers.  Check the website for game times.

On Saturday January 22nd the PeeWee LL travelled to Harriston for a one day tournament.  Our first game was against Tavistock and we easily won 6-0 with Tyler and Connor scoring 2 goals each and Rachel and Travis with 1 goal each.  Jarett, Tyler and Mac each with an assist and Travis and Nicole with 2 assists each.  Our second game was with Woolwich and we came out on top again with a score of 8-2.  Jarett scored a hat trick, Connor had 4 goals and Travis with 1 but they had help from Elliot, Dylan and Aerin with an assist each, Mac and Isaac had 2 assists each and Tyler with 3.  With our 2 ...

Great game everyone!  Special shout out to the ladies, some scoring for the first time. Travis Cressman started the game off with an unassisted goal in the first, followed by Tyler Merner with 2 unassisted goals about 2 minutes apart.  Second period brings Zurich half its goals and starts with Erin Martin with her first unassisted goal.  Rachel Tsitomeneas follows with a goal assisted by Tyler Merner and Alex Miklovic. 

Sorry folks its been awhile but it's hard to keep up with all this reporting! The lads and ladies had a great game in Teeswater on Wednesday night.  Everyone played great and it was looking like we would keep our winning streak going but Teeswater squeezed one past Wade in the third to make it a tie game.  Travis Cressman gave Zurich it's two goals, one unassisted and the second assisted by Aerin Martin.  See you Sunday, when we host Wingham.
