Fastball Registration
Submitted By jbrand on Friday, February 11, 2011
Dear Families:   Spring is around the corner which means fastball season will soon be here.  ZMAA is excited to provide a quality program for boys and girls.  This season we will continue to offer our Rally Ball program as an introduction to the game of fastball.  We offer teams from mite to midget.  The 2011 season promises to be another exciting year of fastball.

We are always looking for new players.  No previous playing experience is required only a willingness to have fun and learn.

This season ZMAA is requiring every player have their own batting helmet.  Face masks on batting helmets are strongly recommended and will become mandatory for all Zurich fastball players in the 2012 season.  Our current batting helmets will be available to purchase for $5.00.  Anyone interested in a helmet should contact Doug Schade to place an order.  Helmets will be sold on a first come first serve basis.

Winter pitching workouts are scheduled every Wednesday night 6:30-8:30 beginning February 16 in the St. Boniface School gym.  Pitchers should bring their own catcher or let us know and we’ll find a catcher for you.

Registrations can be handed in Wednesday nights at the St. Boniface School gym.  Completed forms may also be returned to Doug Schade, Box 211, 15 Rosalie St., Zurich  N0M 2T0.  Registrations handed in later than March 23/11 will be charged an additional $20. and may not be accepted depending on the number of players already registered in that division.  This is necessary for planning purposes.

If you are interested in volunteering your time as a coach, trainer, manager or volunteer assistant, please contact Doug Schade to complete a coaching application.

If you have any further questions, please contact Doug Schade at 519-236-7188 [email protected].

Thank you for your interest.  See you on the ball diamond!
