The Zurich Peewee girls team improved their record to 2-0 Saturday night in Thamesford by taking down Zorra Fusion by a score of 5-1. The game was never in question as the locals outplayed the Fusion for most of the game and played well defensively. Ava Overholt opened up the scoring on a pass from Lindsay Merner. Hailee Masse netted 2 unassisted markers to take a 3-1 lead after two periods. Hailee Brown banged in a rebound on a shot from Cayla Hoffman and Miaya Masse blasted a shot from the point after a pass from Hailee Masse and Overholt to round out the scoring. Rilee Brown picked up her 2nd win of the season in goal. The girls next action is Wednesday night in Lambeth.
