Peewee Girls Unbeaten In Four Games
The Zurich Thunder Peewee Girls won their 3rd straight game, 10th of the season and extended their unbeaten streak to 4 games with a 3-0 win over the Zorra Fusion in Embro on Saturday. The girls kept the Fusion in check once again, playing a strong defensive game and Rilee Brown shut the door in goal to earn her 4th shutout of the season. Morgan Ramer scored one in the 1st on a shot from the point assisted by Hailee Brown. Cayla Hoffman buried a nice shot in the 2nd on a pass from Sami Regier and Brown. And Lindsay Merner netted one in the 3rd from Ava Overholt to complete the scoring...... The girls will be put to the test next Friday night in Z-rock when the undefeated Mooretown Lady Flags come to town, who have not allowed a goal in the 2nd half of the season.
