Thunder Rock Huskies 7-3
The Bantam Rep team continued their strong play in the WOAA group playoffs with a 7-3 win over the West Grey Huskies. It was unusual lopsided penalty minute game with the Thunder being handed 8 minor penalties compared to West Grey's 1. The Zurich team has been very diciplined all season long and has not once took more penalties than their opposition. Rumour has it there was some questionable officiating. With the fans and parents heckling Zurich players all game, asking to see Devon Steckle's birth certificate.
Leading the way on offense for Zurich waas Travis Cressman with a hat trick and an assist. Other goalscorers were Mitch Finlay with 2, Tyler Merner and Devon Steckle with 1 each. Other assists went to Finlay with 2, Merner, Joe Mathonia, Nathan King, Jacob LaPorte and Conor Brand with 1 apeice. Will Overholt picked up the win in goal.
