Bantam Rep Down Wildcats 8-1 In Game One
The boys looked strong handing Elma-Logan a loss in game one of the WOAA Championship and the OMHA Semi-finals. After giving up a goal to go down 1-0 early in the game, Zurich responded with 8 unanswered goals for the victory. Mitch Finlay led the way with 4 goals and 3 assists, Devon Steckle and Tyler Merner followed with a goal and two assists, captain John Cooke with a goal and an assist, Elliot Paulger with a 1 goal, Jacob LaPorte and Jarett Oke with 1 assist. Will Overholt was solid in goal to pick up the win. The team now heads to Elma-Logan for the next two games and expects the Wildcats to come out stronger on home ice.
