Bantams Downed 4-1 In Game 3 Of OMHA Finals
The Zurich Bantam hockey team took one on the chin today in game 3 of the OMHA finals. They may have got caught being a little overconfident after winning the first two games and played this one a little tight with the anticipation of a possible win claiming the Ontario title in front of the home crowd. Several players played like individuals instead of a team and will have to play together to have success. Some undisciplined penalties were also taken. The team now travels to Manvers tomorrow for game 4 and won't have near the pressure that they felt today in Zurich. Devon Steckle scored the lone Zurich goal assisted by Mitch Finlay and Bryson Volochkov. Will Overholt and Kim Hendrick split goaltending duties in this one.
