THUNDER REBOUND NICELY
Our Thunder was silenced early last week, as we struggled against a good squad from Seaforth, we slowly worked our way back to be down 3-1 at the flood.

Our first goal, set up by Colton Becker was a classic beauty, buried deep into the Seaforth net by Brett Laporte. We did not find the spark we needed in the third period, except for a nice goal by Connar McLean with assists going to Clare Masse and Colin Gingerich. We did not support our goalie Brett McAllister very well, who played excellent for the amount of rubber and opposing players he faced. Nice work Brett. After the final whistle, we ended up with a 6-2 loss.

We hosted Mitchell on Fri. Dec 05, it was quite a display for all in attendance. On the ice both teams played good hockey, in the stands there were some different versions of the officiating team.  No complaints here!!!  Game summary as follows, Mitchell hit the board first, then our boys, after two periods we were tied 4-4. Our team played with great intensity and effort, none more so than Colin Gingerich. Colin had three goals at the intermission, the fourth goal was a beautiful near sided top shelf dinger, by Colton Becker who along with Colin, both had awesome games.  Connor Adams played well with lots of action around the net. I don't think Connor realized, but he picked up an assist on Colin's second goal. Lots of assists and great playmaking/backchecking by Kurtis Denomme, Brett Laporte, Ben Cooke, Matt McAllister, Clare Masse and Connar McLean. A great display by Josh King, with a wonderful end to end rush, for all his hard work, the puck ended up on his stick and he made no mistake in firing it deep against the mesh. Most memorable was his post goal celebration. Along with Josh, Dylan Steckle, Braden Erb, Tony Mathonia, Nick Masse, and Michael Beierling all battled hard defending our offensive efforts. In closing this evening belonged to Colin Gingerich as he scored four more goals in the third period with lots of extra efforts. Through everyone pushing hard we came away with a 9-7 win.  Congratulations boys.
