The boys had a rough game in Blyth, they gave a good effort but ended up losing 8-2 to a strong Blyth/Brussels team, however...
the score did not indicate what type of game it turned out to be. It was an ugly, ugly display by Blyth/ Brussels, they had a coach ejected before the end of the first period. They had lots of head checking penalties, they kept the penaltly box full all game and they kept taunting our team. We had a couple of defensive lapses, a few shorthanded goals scored on us, but right until the end of the game our Zurich boys never gave up and handled themselves with class. The coaching staff and the team were very impressed with our goalie Brett McAllister as he played quite well through two periods with not much support. He actually came out in the third period and played awesome. The coaching staff was extremely proud of all of the boys for their class and integrity. This is one game we would all like to forget, as we get ready for our next game in Ripley on Thurs Nov 10 at 8.00p.m.
