COMING OUT STRONG
Game # 1 of our playoffs on Sunday afternoon was a crowd pleaser.
The entire team came out and played strong right from the first period. Both goals were sniped by Jadon Martin who played an outstanding game. Had he not been robbed by the Brussels goalie, he could have had his first hat trick of the season. Assists went to Pettapiece and the Moose. The Atom's went back and forth the entire game with our Brussels nemesis, only to lose in overtime. Brussels did have to play their obvious number one player steady, never taking him off the ice in overtime to obtain this victory. Chuck managed to stone this stealth player for most of the game, but he broke her in the end. Game two is in Brussels this Friday nite and we're hoping to play as well, or better than Sunday. Great work team! It's going to be a good series!
